Change your account email
Verify your current address before changing a password-based account email.
The email-change controls depend on the sign-in method active on your account.
What to do
- Open Account & security.
- For a password-based account, choose Change Email Address.
- Verify the current address, then confirm the new address using the steps shown.
- If Google is your active method, review Manage Google sign-in instead.
