Use Discovery & contact in your privacy settings.
Browse discovery, incoming friend requests, and incoming messages are separate choices.
What to do
- Open Account & security → Manage privacy.
- Review Show my profile in Browse, Allow new friend requests, and Allow messages from non-friends.
- Choose the settings you want and Save privacy settings.

Account controls will ask you to sign in.
Good to know
Turning off Browse listing does not hide your direct profile link or remove existing friends. Review profile-detail and post audiences separately.
