I cannot send a message
Check the connection and the recipient’s current contact permissions.
A conversation can remain in your history even when a new message is no longer allowed.
What to do
- Check the notice above the message box.
- If the person is not a friend, their non-friend message preference may prevent sending.
- Check that the accounts are not blocked and any required Family Center approvals are complete.
- If a request appears stuck, check the conversation before trying Send again.
Good to know
Your own non-friend setting can stop someone replying even when you were able to message them.
