Why do Messages colors look different?
The site can use site colors or your own profile colors for the pop-out.
The Messages layout stays the same in either mode. The site administrator chooses whether the pop-out uses site colors or each member’s profile colors.
What to do
- Use Dark mode in your account menu to change the site’s light/dark appearance.
- Use Edit profile → Look & feel to change your own profile palette.

Account controls will ask you to sign in.
Good to know
Visiting another member’s profile does not give their colors to your conversation panel.
