Messages
Keep a draft while switching conversations
Return to a friend to pick up the text you were writing.
The Messages interface keeps a separate draft for each conversation in the current browser tab.
What to do
- Type your message without selecting Send.
- Choose another friend from the compose picker or conversation list.
- Return to the original conversation to restore its draft.
Open Messages
Account controls will ask you to sign in.
Good to know
Drafts are not sent messages and are not a backup. Do not rely on another device, a closed tab, or cleared browser storage to have the same draft.
