Choose who can see a post
Choose an audience for one post, or save it as your default.
The world icon means Everyone, the friends icon means Friends, and the single-person icon means Only Me. Hover over the icon to see its label. Your full post editor also offers an audience selector.
What to do
- Select the audience icon in Share an update.
- Choose Everyone, Friends, or Only Me from the options available to your account.
- Leave Use this as my default unchecked to change only this post. Check it if you also want future posts to start with that audience.
- Select Apply, then finish and publish your post.
Good to know
Changing your default does not change posts you have already published. A tag does not expand a post’s audience. See the policies for the complete sharing rules.
