Approve a teen’s friends and messaging contacts
Use Friends and requests on the child’s Family Center page.
Friendship and guardian contact approval are separate steps. The current state is shown beside each person.
What to do
- Open Family Center and choose the child.
- Find Friends and requests.
- Approve an eligible contact or use the available removal/block controls.
- If needed, use Find someone to approve.
Good to know
The other person still needs to accept a friend request. For review and access rules, read the Family & supervision policy.
